What is narrow aisle racking ？
Very narrow aisle racking (VNA Racking) is a kind of storage racking, mainly composed of columns, beams, cross braces, diagonal braces, rails, etc. Because the forklift handling aisle of the racking system is narrow, usually around 1600mm-2000mm, so it is called narrow aisle or narrow aisle racking.

What is the difference between wide aisle racking and narrow aisle racking?
The width of the shelf aisle is different
The aisle width of narrow aisle shelving is much smaller than the width of wide aisle racking, which is generally around 1600-2000mm; The aisle width of wide aisle racking is generally 3352.8-3657.6mm.
Racking structure
Wide aisle racking is composed of frame, beams and other accessories. Narrow aisle shelves have accessories in addition to beam shelves, there are rails, which is the biggest difference in the structure of the two.
Storage equipment is different
Narrow aisle racking requires special forklift trucks, i.e. three aisle stacker trucks, to access the goods. While the beam shelves do not have high requirements for forklifts, as long as they can reach the lifting height of the goods and meet the requirements of the channel.
The warehouse utilization rate is different
Narrow aisle racking can reach more than 50% warehouse utilization rate because of the small channel, while beam racking has a large channel and the warehouse utilization rate can only reach 35%-40%.
